SHIPPING FEES: A flat fee of $4.99 per book for U.S. Priority Mail Shipping & Handling gets your order safely in your hands in around four business days. All books are shipped from western Pennsylvania, USA. International shipping is by First Class Mail, and the flat international shipping fee ranges from $14.99 to $19.99 depending on the ship to country. Unless you are having a book shipped to an address in Pennsylvania, no tax is charged by us for any on-line sales. We do not offer Media Mail or next-day shipping options. The $4.99 rate applies to all APO and FPO shipments and they are also sent by Priority Mail.
WOULD YOU LIKE A BOOK SHIPPED TO SOMEONE AS A GIFT FROM YOU? We don't offer gift wrapping, but we will enclose a nice handwritten card with whatever message you would like us to send with the book, and leave off any packing slip that includes the price. There is no extra charge for the personalized card.
WANT TO PAY BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER? Our payment portal is totally secure and encrypted, but if you would rather send a check or money order to pay for the book, mail your payment, including the shipping fee (checks & money orders must be drawn on U.S. banks only) made out to 'Handpicked Publishing' to 328 E. 8th Avenue, Tarentum, PA 15084. If you send a money order, we will ship your book within a day or two. If you send a check, please be aware there will be a 3-4 business-day delay while we wait for your check to clear.
RETURNS: We're sure you will enjoy our books, but if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us for return instructions and to request a full product refund. We will honor all such requests made within sixty (60) days of your date of purchase.

Does Handpicked Publishing collect personal information about me?
If you are just browsing this web site, we do not collect any personal information about you. We may ask you for, and collect, personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and possibly credit card information, when you order something on this web site. If you contact us, we will use whatever information you have given us to respond to your question or request, but only for that purpose.
What does Handpicked Publishing do with my personal information?
We use personal information in order to process your order. We will contact you by email to confirm the order has been received, and provide you with tracking information once the order has shipped, or if we have questions (if, for example, the post office says the ship to address you have given us is invalid). If you ask us to keep you informed as to an author's speaking/book signing appearances, or the like, we will make every effort to comply with your request, but we will not automatically send you any unsolicited emails. We make every effort to treat your email address and other personal information just as we would want our own email address and other personal information treated (our version of the golden rule as to privacy and freedom from mass, unsolicited, time-wasting incoming emails).
Does Handpicked Publishing share my information?
We never give anyone your email address or phone number unless you specifically ask us to. We do not sell any of your information to any third parties for their marketing purposes and nothing is shared, even with our authors, unless you specifically ask for it to be shared. You may also unsubscribe from such sharing at any time if you change your mind. There is no need to opt out of anything initially because we assume you want your information kept private and not used for any future contacts unless you affirmatively tell us otherwise.
